JONATHAN HO
SECRETARY-GENERAL
Hi all! I’m Jonathan, a rising G11 student who is struggling to balance his responsibilities. As DBSMUN reaches its fifth iteration, I’m thrilled to be welcoming you all to the hill, and await to see both old and new faces! I have full confidence in my secretariat members, and cannot wait to see you all in December!

MARCUS LAU
SECRETARY-GENERAL
Hi everyone! I’m Marcus, an upcoming victim of G11 IB who runs around with his camera too much. Being bestowed beacons from last year’s amazing secretariat, I’m extremely honoured to be able to serve as Secretary General for this year and share with you the conference that made both MUN and coffee runs inseparable from my school life. I look forward to seeing all of you in December!

NEVILLE LEUNG
STUDENT ADVISOR
Hi everyone, I am Neville, a rising G12 IB student and I am honoured to be your Student Advisor. Having served in DBSMUN and ISMUN as a part of the secretariat team, and as a chair for many more conferences, it is my utmost pleasure to move this legacy forward and bestow this beacon for the next generation of MUNers. From the fiery debates to the life-long friends I’ve made, MUN has truly given me so much. And with this year’s secretariat, I’m sure that DBSMUN V will give you the same.

MATTHEW SZETO
DEPUTY SECRETARY-GENERAL
Hi everyone. I’m Matthew, an already-suffering G12 IB student. I’m grateful to serve as your deputy secretary general in this edition of DBSMUN. With my MUN journey coming to an end, I’ve grown to treasure every moment there is left with this wonderful secretariat. DBSMUN will be the first and last conference I had the opportunity of organising, and I’m looking forward to all the debate and diplomacy happening during December. See you in December!

JAY SO
UNDER-SECRETARY-GENERAL
Hi all, Jay here, a rising G11 student, and I’m exhilarated to serve as your Under-Secretary-General for this iteration of DBSMUN. Ever since I delved into the circuit last year, MUN has been an inseparable part of me, and I am honoured to be presented with this indelible opportunity to carry the torch of DBSMUN. I look forward to all the heated debates as well as delivering your hot chocolates during council sessions. See you all on the hill during the winter!!!

ADRIAN WAI
SECRETARY
This is my sixth time re-writing my bio so I’ve given up on trying to be funny. Hello!! Most people know me as Adrian, a rising G11 student who was cordially invited by the SA and one of the SGs into serving as your secretary in DBSMUN V. It’s an honour for me to welcome you all to our home turf, and guide you through the place that I spend more time in when compared to my home. If you’re interested in seeing the original draft feel free to find me when you’re here, see you in December!

ALASTAIR SHEK
TREASURER
Hi all! It’s Alastair, an academic comeback aspirant who’s not ready for the IBDP. I am more than honoured to be serving as your treasurer for DBSMUN V. Having been part of the circuit for a while now, I’ve witnessed the changes firsthand as older generations passed the mantle to the new. In spirit of it, I hope DBSMUN will help serve as your beacons for bestowal and I am thrilled to be part of it all. Once again, see you all in December on the Hill! I hope you’re ready for the walk up ;)

EUGENE LAU
DIRECTOR OF DESIGN
Hi everyone! I’m Eugene, a soon-to-be victim of G11 IB, and I am thrilled to serve as your Director of Design for DBSMUN V. In my four years of doing MUN, I have never once derived pleasure from conference preparation. However, what keeps me going isn’t the midnight ramen and caffeinated drinks but the vision of like-minded individuals engaging in fiery debates, cracking jokes in banter boxes and forging new friendships. Wrapping up my MUN journey, I bid farewell to a circuit that has significantly shaped who I am, and I hope this conference treats you the same way as it has helped me profoundly. See you there!

PETER AU
DIRECTOR OF LOGISTICS
Hi everyone! I’m Peter, a rising G11 IB student, and I’m elated to serve as your Logistics Director! Ever since my first foray into MUN a year and a half ago, I’ve always found it vastly meaningful for like-minded individuals to converge and resolve multi-faceted global issues, making it extremely fascinating that I’m able to facilitate this experience for you all. Please be well assured that both fruitful debate and refreshening hot chocolate will not run short this December at DBSMUN, and I look forward to seeing you all then!

TIMOTHY TO
DIRECTOR OF CONFERENCE AFFAIRS
Hey everybody! I am Timothy, a rising G11 student who is thrilled to be serving as your Director of Conference Affairs for DBSMUN V. Since my MUN debut one year ago, it still continues to amaze me with the compelling debates, heated discussions and great friendships along the way. Thus, as one of the secretariat members, it is my great pleasure to carry on the unique heritage of DBSMUN. Whether it’ll be from our merch, awards, or more importantly, the memorable delegating experiences, hope to see y’all having a blast on the Kadoorie Hill in December. See you there!

DANIEL WONG
